About Us
The Stevens Investment Group (SIG) is a self governing student run body which discusses market trends, analyses the effect of current events on specified investment sectors, and uses student input to create and run a comprehensive investment portfolio. The group typically meets on Tuesdays at 8:30, and each market sector sub-group is expected to come prepared to discuss that week’s activity with the entire SIG body. Students are also encouraged to run their own virtual stock portfolio using VSE and we expect to provide prizes for the group’s top performers. The SIG is, above all else, meant to be a casual learning environment where students can flex their muscles in the financial world and hopefully learn the techniques required to outperform the market.
