Ph.D Candidate Positions

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Stevens Institute of Technology is inviting postdoctoral scholars and Ph.D candidates in the area of Nanoelectromechanical Systems (NEMS) and Nanotechnology. The candidates will investigate fundamentals, nanofabrication and characterization techniques of 1) carbon nanotube and graphene nanostructures for  nanoelectronics and sensing applications; 2) High-throughput voltage-applied lithography (VAN) process; and/or 3)  Nanoscale bimorph actuators and associated nanoscale measurement techniques for re-configurable arrayed-nanostructures for nanoantennas and nanorobots.

 

Stevens Institute is located across the Hudson River facing Manhattan skylines and has a vibrant interdisciplinary research environment in nanotechnology (http://www.stevens.edu/nano/).
