Active Nanomaterials and Divices Laboratoy is a joint group of Stevens faculties, researchers and students working in the area of Nano and micro technology. Our research focus especially on functional nanomerials such piezoelectric nanofibers, PZT nanowire, nanotube and nanorode, ITO nanofibers and nanoparticles, thermal electric nanofibers.
These novel nano active materials can be used to fabricate actuators and sensors. Currently fabricated devices in our lab include filters, resonators, switches, gas sensors, bio sensors, ultrasound transducers, thermal electrical genitors, and solar sells etc.
