Project Objectives

The EZ Glide will provide autonomous motion to the rocking glider and allow those lacking ample mobility, such as the elderly and disabled, to move in the rocking glider without exerting any force on the glider. Also, the EZ Glide will allow for altering rocking speeds and convenient entry and exit into and out of the chair. The EZ Glide will also contain a few sensors that would activate the motor thus moving the chair. In addition, the sensors would also allow the chair lift to raise and lower an occupant in the chair.
