Serban Sabau received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from “Politehnica” University Bucharest,  Romania in 2002 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park, in 2011. Before joining Stevens Institute of Technology in 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Electrical and Systems Engineering Department at the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests include numerical algorithms for distributed control and distributed optimization along with fault tolerant control methods with applications to autonomous vehicles.
