Education 
He received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1987. He received a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1990 and a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1994.
