Announcement (5/15/2013):
Dear Students and Advisers,
This is the final announcement for the SSE 2013 Doctoral Research Symposium. This event will be held on May 20th and May 21st in Babbio 319, and please find the final meeting agenda and presentation schedule at: http://personal.stevens.edu/~syang14/drssse2013/Doctoral_Research_Symposium_Agenda_2013.pdf
As it was announced before, the department has set up three awards for this event: the Best Presentation, the Best Research, and the Best Idea. Appointed judges will score each presentation in the three categories, and the average final scores will determine winners of the three awards. But most of all, we look forward to the opportunity to exchange ideas and inspire each other for better researches.
I also want you know that breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served according to the following schedule:
May 20, 2013
8:00 a.m. Breakfast - Babbio Room 319, will need a table set up in room - bagels, coffee, tea, water, juice, and fruit platter
9:30 a.m. Break - refresh coffee and bottle water - Babbio 319
12:00 p.m. - Lunch Babbio 5th Floor kitchen - Assortment of sandwiches, soda, water, coffee and tea, dessert
2:00 p.m. - Break - coffee, tea, soda, water, chips and cookies
5:30 p.m. - Dinner - Atrium (Backup Babbio 5th floor Patio)
