Ma 227 Mathematical Analysis IV (4-0-4)

Boundary-value problems; orthogonal functions; Fourier series; separation of variables for partial differential equations; matrices and determinants; Cramer's rule; row reduction of matrices; eigenvalues and eigenvectors; systems of equations; double and triple integrals; polar, cylindrical and spherical coordinates; surface and line integrals; integral theorems of Green, Gauss and Stokes. Required for those in the Engineering curriculum. Prerequisite: Ma 221.
