  T 6:15PM-8:45PM K350
This section is offered at: Hoboken Campus

This course is an exploration of traditional orchestral instruments. The student will learn fine details related to the characteristics of each instrument in the orchestral family with classroom examples of masterpieces in the classical repertoire as well as by experiencing either live demonstrations or sampled demonstrations by the instructor. By the end of the course, the student will have an extensive knowledge of the orchestra that will enable them to not only effectively write for and interact with live musicians but will enhance and greatly improve realizations of electronic/midi based compositions.
