The stock cartouche SEZ FABBRICA----- GARDONE VT. Under Gardone VT it is stamped RPARAZIONE-1938. 1 inch in front of the side sling mount in the butt is a square stamp with 8de. The serial number is stamped on the bottom of the stock in front of the bottom sling swivel as well as in front of the butt plate both match the barrel number. |
This has the same stock and bands as a 1928 model but still has the original TS front sight. |

Original M91 stock shortened and reshaped to TS configuration. The wood grain was then sealed, but not varnished. M91 buttplate. The stepped barrel rests on a small metal plate under the nosecap, since the M91 barrel stock cutout is too deep for the stepped down barrel. |
