Dr. Elnaz Banan Sadeghian is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. She received her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017, and an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from AmirKabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2008. Before joining Stevens she was a Senior DSP Engineer at Qualcomm Company. She is the recipient of NSF CAREER award, 2023, Rising Star in Electrical Engineering, MIT, 2015, and Georgia Tech Research and Innovation Edison award, 2014. Her areas of expertise include algorithm design for Telecommunication Systems (Data Storage) and Assistive Technologies. She is a fellow member of Advanced Storage Techology Consortium.
