Matlab program for determining surface tension of droplet or bubble by linear regression

The Lung Mechanics Lab has developed software for determining surface tension of a droplet or bubble from interfacial curvature by linear regression.

The method is detailed in the publication: "Perlman, Brandner and Hall, A linear-regression-based method for determining surface tension from variation in interfacial curvature, Langmuir, 41: 23096-23108, 2025," which should be cited on use of the code.

The code is available for non-commercial use, and can be downloaded upon filling out this form.

Coming soon: a version of the code for analyzing a series of images as a batch.
